The birds were arriving in flocks of white and long necked marsh birds flew over daily. I loved my little peek into the sky there each day. I was working on gowns for an eco wedding show and created this gown with blue in mind.
My favorite parts were the sheer blue lace hemline panels which had raised blue swirls and the soft blue tulle train. The neckline had a soft, blue gray silk flower detail that sort of gave rise to the blue theme.
I loved the shabby, almost victorian over-the-top style of the details of this gown and was so happy when it sold. Sometimes blue is the spring-iest color !!
